This week, the NVERS Steering Committee held their monthly meeting in Fairfax and the critical points from the discussion include:
-The Committee was briefed on an updated Doxycycline and Ciprofloxacin regional cache recommendation from the Pharmaceutical and Medical Supply working group, and was also informed of the current state of the northern Virginia Duodote cache.

On Monday, the Medical Supply and Pharmaceutical Working Group met to finalize recommendations for the Doxycycline repurchase and discussed strategic planning options for large future purchases of pharmaceuticals. The group also received an update on the current status of the Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) project. The first TECC Working Group meeting will be held on February 21st.
