This course examines and addresses the unique and challenging requirements of administering point of wounding medical care by Fire/Rescue/EMS personnel to patients during a high-threat incident. Fire/Rescue/EMS providers will learn to distinguish between life-saving and secondary interventions, and when they should be applied based on the prevailing threat to responders and patients based on current TECC guidelines. This course will also discuss objectives, teaching strategies, and skills stations to enable successful participants to deliver this course in the future as instructors.
Target Audience: BLS & ALS Providers identified by their agencies to become TECC instructors.
