The U.S. Coast Guard Public Information Assistance Team will conduct the training using lectures, discussions, exercises & case studies.
About this Event: Local, state, federal, and industry partners officials who have responsibility for or a need to communicate to their community and media in a risk or crisis situation such as oil spills, release of hazardous materials, hurricanes, floods, and other disasters. Those attending could include elected officials, public information officers, officials from fire/ police and government agencies, and emergency managers.
