On January 24, 2025, NVERS hosted a regional offering of the Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) course, in partnership with the burn center at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.

On October 30, 2024, the first of two sessions of the NVERS Medically Vulnerable Populations Tabletop Exercises was held in Fairfax County.
