Dr. Tamara Herold is an American Crime Scientist. She is an Associate Criminal Justice Professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and an expert in crowd and place management, as well as police training. She studies dynamics that lead to crowd and neighborhood violence. Dr. Herold develops and promotes evidence-based strategies to increase public and officer safety, build community trust, and advance organizational effectiveness.

In this four-hour keynote presentation, Dr. Herold will provide attendees with the tools to enhance their skills and knowledge related to crowd management and control. This course will include key topics, learning objectives, and a preliminary list of case studies that reflect real-world applications for emergency response teams and highlight best practices in crowd management during emergencies.
