NVERS will be facilitating the annual update of the regional healthcare coalition Hazard & Vulnerability Analysis (HVA). The HVA is used to identify the top risks to the region's healthcare sector, and the completed document guides planning and training initiatives throughout the year.
This year, NVERS staff will be hosting three offerings of the HVA work session in-person, around the region.
During this time, coalition staff will provide an overview of the major changes proposed to the HVA, and host a facilitated discussion with stakeholders to obtain any additional input.
Staff will brief the updates and then facilitate discussions at these times:
- Session 1: October 15, 2024, 10am-12pm (Eastern portion of the region)
- Session 2 (This session): October 17, 2024, 10am-12pm (Charlottesville area)
- Session 3: October 18, 2024, 10am-12pm (Winchester area)

Prior to the meeting, please review your own HVA or similar risk assessment if applicable, as well as any after-action reports or notes on major incidents impacting your operations during the past year.
