The Northern Virginia Fire and Rescue Leadership Development Institute (LDI) is thrilled to announce the second annual Strategy and Tactics (S&T) course, set to take place over four intensive days from September 16 to 17 and September 23 to 24, 2024. The program will culminate in a graduation ceremony held alongside the LDI 2024 Session students with a morning of learning on Saturday, October 19, 2024, then graduation at 1300 hours.
Distinguished from the traditional LDI Session, the S&T course offers a unique format where students return home after each day of rigorous training. The comprehensive curriculum comprises both classroom sessions and practical training, designed to equip aspiring and newly promoted company officers with essential leadership, strategy, tactical, and initial incident commander skills.
Classroom sessions will be held on September 16 and 23, 2024 and practical training on September 17 and 24, 2024.
