Chief Jim Cervera (Ret.) was the Chief of Police at the VA Beach Police Department during the mass shooting event that occurred at the Virginia Beach Municipal Building in 2019. Chief Cervera will speak on the incident in his four hour keynote presentation entitled "Mass Casualty Leadership Response". Chief Cervera will give a detailed account on incident response, establishment of Unified Command, Best Practices, and Lessons Learned.
The event will be held in Loudoun County, VA. Exact venue location will be sent out via email to registered attendees following the registration cut off date, September 11, 2023 at 4 P.M. EST.
