COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Ascenttra Controller and Evaluator Course is designed to provide conduct staff for operations based exercises a solid foundation for elements of control, observation, and proper evaluation write up techniques. The traditional short training the day prior to conduct is meant to provide an overview of that specific exercise design elements, but not designed to provide a holistic overview of the control and evaluation process itself. This training provides a solid foundation for the responsibilities of the dual-hatted controller/evaluator prior to, during, and after exercise conduct. We will cover scenario review, MSEL review, venue reviews, safety considerations, observers, actors, control communications, protocols, evaluation considerations, developing the AAR contribution, and much more! The below course objectives and agenda are guidelines. We will customize the course based on audience desires.
